By accessing or using WasteLondon's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.

2. Services Description

WasteLondon provides waste management and collection services including but not limited to:

• Household waste collection
• Commercial waste management
• Recycling services
• Skip hire and bulk waste removal
• Confidential waste disposal
• Hazardous waste handling (with proper documentation)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of our services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Types

We offer different account types for household and business customers, each with specific features and pricing structures appropriate to their needs.

4. Booking and Scheduling

4.1 Service Booking

When booking our services, you agree to provide accurate information about the type and volume of waste to be collected. Misrepresentation may result in additional charges or service refusal.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel or reschedule services up to 24 hours before the scheduled collection time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur charges.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice for regular customers.

5.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made. Business accounts may be eligible for NET 30 payment terms upon approval.

5.3 Late Payments

Late payments may incur interest charges and result in service suspension until the account is brought current.

6. Prohibited Waste

The following items cannot be collected without special arrangements and proper documentation:

• Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials
• Explosives and ammunition
• Radioactive materials
• Medical waste
• Certain chemicals and solvents
• Other materials as specified by environmental regulations

7. Liability and Indemnification

WasteLondon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use our services. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WasteLondon from any claims arising from your violation of these terms or applicable laws.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with GDPR and UK data protection laws.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and services, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of WasteLondon and protected by intellectual property laws.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through our website. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
